Fikayo Tomori scoops the Player of the Season award, while Richard Keogh gets the nod from his teammates to win the Players' Player of the Season and Jayden Bogle gets the seal of approval as he is awarded Young Player of the Season.
But just how impressive have they been this season?
So far this season, Richard Keogh has played the most completed passes (2,675) and Fikayo Tomori is not far behind, having played 2,417 completed passes and our young star Jayden Bogle is in third, with 1,761 completed passes under his belt. Richard Keogh has played in 52 fixtures this season, missing not a single game, and Fikayo Tomori has played in 50 games and Jayden Bogle completing 45 appearances. Richard Keogh has kept 14 clean sheets, Fikayo Tomori has kept 13 clean sheets and Jayden Bogle has kept 10 - they are clearly the three Musketeers of our defence, remaining the reliable stalwarts of our defense as we struggled through changing goalkeepers and left backs over the duration of the season.
In the last 10 games;
-Bristol City 0-2 Derby
-Derby 2-0 QPR
-Birmingham 2-2 Derby
-Derby 4-0 Bolton
-Blackburn 2-0 Derby
-Brentford 3-3 Derby
-Derby 6-1 Rotherham
-Derby 0-0 Stoke
-Derby 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday
-Derby 2-1 Wigan
This analysis is based on statistics from the last 10 fixtures, rather than stretching back to the entire 52 games played this season because I'm sure you don't have the time to read through all that analysis! This is also mostly statistics and facts taken from various sources, and you may interpret them however you want.
Richard Keogh has a combined amount of touches of 727 - averaging 73 touches per game, proving his effectiveness in Derby's style of playing out from the back, and he has got an average pass completion rate of 78.2% which is moderately decent for a Championship defender. Over the last ten games too, he has not received a single booking, and conceded only three fouls - proving himself to be captain reliable. He has also made 42 clearances over the last ten games, averaging 4.2 clearances a game, and this, alongside with Fikayo Tomori's statistics, provides the team with a solid defence who can keep a cool head in sticky situations.

Fikayo Tomori has a combined amount of touches of 745 - averaging 82 touches per game (741 if not including Bristol City game as he played only 11 minutes), again, proving his effectiveness and impact in Derby's and Lampard's style of playing out from the back. He also has got an average pass completion of 80.3%, an impressive feat for someone of his age and position, and again, proving his worth in playing out Lampard's tactics. He has also picked up two yellow cards in the last ten games, and conceded only two fouls across the last ten - the yellow cards given to him were debatable decisions but we will not go into that, as it would be a very long discussion. He also has made 31 clearances in the last ten fixtures, including two from his 11 minute cameo at Bristol City, meaning an average of 3.1 clearances per game, providing a trustworthy defender for the midfield to trust.

Jayden Bogle has a combined amount of touches of 725 - averaging 73 touches per game, on par as Richard Keogh and also proving his effectiveness in Lampard's style, as well as showing his capability to push the play upfield. He also has got an average pass completion rate of 76.2%, just slightly lower than Keogh's average, but this is to be expected as Bogle does not pass to the defender by his side - he runs down the wing and attempts to break through opposing defence. In the last ten fixtures, he has picked up three bookings, all of them avoidable in my opinion but I think that is mostly down to inexperience and keenness to impress. He has also made 19 clearances in the last ten games, a significantly lower number in comparison to Tomori and Keogh, but at the end of the day, he plays in a much more different position with a lot more different responsibilities and priorities, so 19 clearances is a decent figure for someone in his position.

I'm fully aware that the last ten fixtures does not reflect their performances over the full season, but they clearly show the capabilities of our award winners, and the consistency they can achieve as well as the level they can reach.
The Players' Player of the Year, Richard Keogh, has proved himself to be a reliable defender, playing at a consistent level throughout this season, and probably deserves a little more respect than what he gets now. Through numbers, facts and performances, Keogh has proven himself to be worthy of his starting position, and worthy of his contract that expires in a couple of years' time. He is an icon, a role model, at the club, and deserves some more recognition in this respect from the fans - he has clearly gained full respect from the team surrounding him.
"To be with these guys every day and train and play with them, for them to vote for me is a nice feeling and a great honour." - Richard Keogh.

The Player of the Year, Fikayo Tomori, as voted by the fans, is the first loanee to win the award, and boy, does he deserve it! He has shown passion throughout the season, even although we are not his parent club, and he has dedicated himself, committed to everything we are aiming for as a club, and he definitely has got a bright future, whether that will be at Derby or elsewhere. Statistically, he has been the best defender at the club, and up there along with the best of the division, and he has been simply the best player at our club. I cannot recall a moment when he doesn't successfully carry out a clean tackle, and albeit a couple of fatal mistakes due to inexpertise, he has been impeccable as a defender, and it's always been a joy to watch him in a Derby shirt. The desire to succeed is definitely something that will take him far in his future.
"I’m just glad the fans recognised that I was trying to give my best and hopefully I can continue that for the rest of the season and we can get into the play-offs and get into the Premier League." - Fikayo Tomori

Young Player of the Year, Jayden Bogle, has been a beauty to watch this season as he blossomed game to game, playing with his heart on his sleeve and giving everything he had into every game, putting on regularly improving displays as he learns more and more. It's never a bad thing to watch a player develop, and he has been nothing short of impressive this season, putting on consistently strong displays, and you would never think he's only 18 years old of age. He was playing for the under 18s this time last year, and now he's matured so much, having already played 45 first team games, hopefully to turn into 50 by the end of the season as we have two league fixtures to go, then the play-offs maybe! He carries himself maturely, makes good and effective decisions most of the time, and is simply one of the best right backs in the making. The future is bright for him, and hopefully, it will be at Derby for the next season at least.
"I've enjoyed every part of it, and there's been a big contribution from the players, the fans and everyone involved in the club, to make it as enjoyable as it has been." - Jayden Bogle
